Christians around the world celebrate Christmas Day on December 25th. This moment is not only used for worship, but also for the collection of family and relatives belongings.

The celebration of Christmas was also celebrated by Salah and his family. Salah, his wife Magi and their two daughters, Makka and Kayan, wore pajamas dominated by the Christmas green color.

They posed in front of the Christmas tree, which was also decorated with various blue Christmas accessories. Numerous gifts were seen under the tree.

“#MerryChristmas,” Salah wrote in his Instagram and Twitter posts, as a Christmas tree emoji popped up.

As usual, Salah’s charge over Christmas Day celebrations has sparked controversy given his status as a Muslim footballer from the country of Egypt, where the majority are Muslims.

Furthermore, his wife Magi is also known to be obedient as she dresses according to Islamic law. Naturally, Salah’s action was criticized by many of his fans, who were disappointed with the action.

There were even some fans who immediately unfollowed the 30-year-old player’s social media accounts.

“I’ve been a Liverpool fan since birth, but I’m going to stop supporting the club because you celebrate Christmas with Christians. You’ve just lost a fan, Salah. Hi!” said a fan named Oscar Romero.

“As a Real fan, I like you a lot. I see you as an amazing player and always an inspiration. But after the tweet, I no longer idolize you,” said another fan.

Mohamed Salah has been celebrating Christmas regularly since joining Liverpool in 2017. There have been four times that Salah and his family have dressed up as Christmas on 25 December.
