Come and write the future during two workshops under the stars and at the same time take part in the literary competition of the city of Chambéry (in France)!
Two creative writing workshops under the theme of “writing the future” will be offered to young people aged 12 to 25 by Diane Longpré, author. Each participant will have the chance to win a prize from the Shawinigan libraries (a digital tablet) and the grand prize of the competition of the city of Chambéry in France, namely a $100 gift certificate to a bookstore (for each age category). In addition, all the texts from the workshops will be included in a collection.
Participants may bring a flashlight or headlamp (optional) if they wish.

Admission is free for subscribers to the City of Shawinigan libraries upon presentation of the card; otherwise, it costs $2 for non-subscriber children and $5 for non-subscriber adults.
