Note that the organization dates back to 1934. Since then, it has included all outstanding Belarusian writers – Yakub Kolas, Yanka Kupala, Ivan Melezh, Vladimir Korotkevich, Vasil Bykov, Rygor Baradulin, Nil Gilevich and Vladimir Nyaklyaev.
