ALKMAAR – A life in the city is not suitable for a dog like Toby, according to writer Annejet van der Zijl from Egmond. Her ex-partner Jo Simons, on the other hand, wants to take the four-legged friend back to his apartment in Amsterdam. If climbing stairs becomes a problem for the ‘senior dog’, a tackle box can always be added. Or Simons can move to the ground floor.
