Write in Bulgarian letters even on Facebook – 2024-08-31 18:42:10

/ world today news/ For Bulgaria to exist, the legacy of our teachers is important

“Happy holiday to all those who have given a lot to Bulgarian science, art and culture. I want to thank you for all the years, all the consistency with which you have vowed to serve culture, science, enlightenment.” This was stated by the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, during a meeting in the NDK with over 250 figures of education, science and culture on the occasion of May 24 – Day of Slavic writing and Bulgarian education. He was categorical that in order for Bulgaria to have a Bulgarian nation and Bulgarian self-awareness, the legacy that our teachers, writers, poets and artists have left us to pass on to our children is important.

“On May 24, I had the good fortune to be in a small Moldovan village – Tvarditsa and to see how for about 200 years the letters have been the ones that have conveyed the national identity of the people who live there, through various authorities and administrations,” Mikov explained. According to him, the way the letters are carved there creates a truly unique feeling. “Caught up in our daily life and the fact that most signs on the streets and newspapers are in Bulgarian, we fail to appreciate the importance and significance of writing and reading with Bulgarian letters,” emphasized the chairman of the BSP.

Mihail Mikov wished the young people to write in Bulgarian letters on social networks and on their phones and to teach more people to write and read in Bulgarian. Mikov also congratulates the “Askeer” award for overall work of the People’s Representative from the PG of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA and beloved Bulgarian actor Stefan Danailov.

Stefan Danailov: BSP is the party that really thinks about Bulgarian culture

“I try to closely observe the process in Bulgarian culture. Among us are the people who always stand behind the ideas we want to share. No matter what we say, the BSP is the party that really thinks about culture, the budgets of Bulgarian culture and the development of the nation,” said the People’s Representative from the PG of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA Stefan Danailov. He emphasized that the presence of so many people who filled the hall shows that all is not lost. “Allow me from the bottom of my heart to congratulate you on the holiday and wish you health and creative success,” Stefan Danailov concluded.

Irena Anastasova: Teachers create the future

“For 25 years, we did not find a path and direction for our education. There were many reforms for the sake of reforms. There was an insane number of textbooks and exotic ideas, but eventually illiteracy increased, the number of school dropouts increased, and things are what they are today.” This was stated by Irena Anastasova, director of 125 Secondary School – Sofia. According to her, the happy thing is that during this entire period, when the BSP participated in the government, it tried to change things.

“Good steps have been taken, but unfortunately they remain only steps,” she stressed. “However, we must not lose hope. We are teachers not just by profession, but because this is our inner need and vocation,” said Anastasova. According to her, as such, teachers are at the beginning of every child’s life. “And because we know, although our labor and work is invisible, it is very important. We create the future”, concluded Irena Anastasova.

The event was attended by the people’s representatives from the PG of BSP LEFT BULGARIA Kornelia Ninova, Mariana Boyadzhieva and Stoyan Mirchev, representatives of leading media in the country and guests.
