Wreckfest 2 Announced: A Groundbreaking Sequel with Extreme Car Destruction, New Modes, and Classic Challenges!

(PressFire.no): Developer Bugbear has announced what was previously called the “Next Car Game” – and of course it had to be a sequel to the popular “Wreckfest”.

“Wreckfest 2” takes car wrecking to the extreme and promises a complete overhaul of the visual and game modes – including a new career mode, online play and split screen.

The cars will now be destroyed in even more spectacular ways, and a more robust system for measuring external and internal damage has been implemented, says Bugbear.

The developers also take lessons from classic “Top Gear” programs and say that the game will be filled with “challenges” that will put you behind the wheel of vehicles that were “definitely never intended to appear on race track”.

The game also supports user creation modes, at least on PC.

The launch date is not yet clear, but the game will come to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / X.
