The black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, called Sagittarius A*, has a mass of about 4 million times that of the Sun.

There are three main types of galaxies: spiral, ellipsoidal, and irregular galaxies. Spiral galaxies like the Milky Way have denser centers and spiral arms that are made up of clouds of gas and dust and young stars that form within them.
An ellipsoidal galaxy consists of millions of stars scattered throughout the galaxy and is shaped like a ball.
Irregular galaxies have an unstructured shape and are usually composed of clouds of gas and dust and randomly formed stars.
Galaxies can also interact and collide with other galaxies. These interactions can produce interesting effects such as the formation of new stars, strange galaxy shapes, and even bigger black holes.
