1. Eggs are a bad food

Eggs have a lot of dietary cholesterol over 200 mg. But dietary cholesterol is not as bad as previously thought. Only some of the cholesterol in the diet ends up as cholesterol in the bloodstream and if cholesterol intake is increased, the body will replace it by producing less cholesterol on its own.

Eating an egg or two several times a week is harmless. In fact, eggs are an excellent source of protein and contain unsaturated or good fats.

2. Cholesterol is always bad

Cholesterol has always been considered a bad disease. High cholesterol can be dangerous, but cholesterol itself is essential for a variety of bodily processes, from isolating nerve cells in the brain to providing structure for cell membranes.
