WoW: The Burning Crusade pre-patch has already been activated and this is all it offers

One of the most anticipated moments in the universe World of Warcraft is about to come. We are not talking about that highly anticipated new patch of Shadowlands how much is being expected, but we are referring to the landing of the Burning Crusade on WoW: Classic. The classic version of the Blizzard MMO will receive the first expansion since its opening on June 2, one that is also much loved by fans.

Well, it turns out that before that main course, it plays an appetizer in the form of a pre-patch. This is important not only because the first details of the Burning Crusade arrive, but because this involves the first subdivision within World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard had already mentioned it: players will be able to choose between jumping into the expansion or staying in the classic era of the game.

Players will receive with this preliminary patch the ability to create characters of a different race (blood elves and draenei), as well as being part of the pre-launch event: Battle for the Dark Portal. In it, the High Lord Kruul and his demons will go to the conquest of Azeroth and it will be necessary to try to stop them. Those new races will have new starting zones: Silvermoon and The Exodar.

There are also additions at the profession level, with the arrival of jewelry, and talents, with changes in the trees of this game system. Of course, Blizzard has provided new options at the purchasing level, such as the arrival of the Pass for the Dark Portal that allows us to raise a character to level 58, receive equipment, a mount and other necessary goods to start the adventure from scratch. There is a Digital Deluxe version with this pass, 30 days of play and more cosmetics, but also the possibility of cloning our character in Classic to be able to enjoy both experiences at the same time.
