Just a few hours ago, Blizzard revealed the date when the last major patch for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be implemented. This is a long-awaited version, since World of Warcraft is at a key moment in its history. The competition is sweet with Final Fantasy XIV and the brand new Lost Ark, as well as it will be Blizzard’s first major release after the announcement of the purchase by Xbox.
Introducing Patch 9.2: Eternity’s End, and its deployment is scheduled for on Wednesday, January 22, 2022 on the servers!

With the help of the Prelate, you can enter a strange new land: Zereth Mortis. The First Ones designed Zereth Mortis as a workshop to create the afterlife. Its inhabitants, the Automa, have built everything that exists in the Shadowlands. It is a supernatural place that defies all concepts of reality or physics. The Jailer’s intention is to use the secrets of the place to reshape reality and bend it according to his evil designs.
Meet new allies, the Enlightened Ones, learn the lyrical runic language of the automatons, and join the campaign against the Jailer’s forces before he achieves his goal within the Sepulcher of the First.
Shadowlands season 2 will end soon
The end of Shadowlands Season 2 is drawing near, here’s a rundown of what’s in store for you:
SHADOWLANDS SEASON 2: PvP
The current season of Shadowlands PvP content will come to an end on February 22 at 22:00 CET.
Once the season ends, you will not be able to earn any more rewards or season titles, or progress up the Shadowlands Season 2 leaderboard.
SHADOWLANDS SEASON 2: MYTHIC+
The current season of Mythic+ content will end with regional maintenance on February 23. After the season ends, the 0.1% of players with the required rating will be counted to get the achievement and the title of “tormented hero”.
The Tormented Hero title will be awarded in the weeks following the end of the season, so make sure you don’t make any faction changes until you get it.
A pre-season will take place during the week following the end of the season. Following the off-season, Shadowlands Season 3 will begin the week of March 1, following weekly maintenance in each region.
PRE-SEASON PvP
Players will still be able to participate in ranked PvP and earn rewards, but the leaderboards will be frozen.
MYTHIC PRE-SEASON+
Mythic+ dungeons will still be available with Season 2 affixes and rewards. Mythic+ Ranking will still stack and Season Achievements will still be available, with the exception of the “Tormented Hero” title and achievement.
