Telset.id, Jakarta – Researchers in Japan are designing a sophisticated transportation system in the form of a train, which can easily carry humans from Earth to the Moon and to Mars.
Reported Telset from Gadget 360 on Friday (15/7/2022), this plan was revealed by researchers from Kyoto University, Japan and Kajima Construction in a press conference.
Researchers there want to create an artificial space habitat and an interplanetary rail system that connects Earth, the Moon and Mars.
“There is no such plan in other countries’ space development plans. Our plan represents an important technology that is critical to ensuring humans can move into space in the future,” said Yosuke Yamashiki, director of the SIC Human Space Center at Kyoto University.

The space habitat will replicate Earth’s gravity, terrain and atmosphere to prevent weakening of the human musculoskeletal system in zero and low gravity environments.
While in the glass, researchers will use centrifugal force through rotational motion to recreate Earth’s gravity which is 6 times greater than that of the Moon.
Conical habitat with artificial gravity, complete with public transportation, green areas, and bodies of water replicating facilities on planet Earth. There are 3 habitats, each on Earth, the Moon and Mars.
On Earth the habitat will be named The Glass, the Moon is called Lunaglass and Mars is called Marsglass. The three habitats will be interconnected and will carry humans, from Earth to the Moon and to the planet Mars.
The artificial habitat in outer space will be completed in 2050 for a simplified version. While the full-scale version will likely take another 70 years.

The plan of Japanese researchers was announced at a time when several countries in the world are planning to bring humans to the Moon.
For example, the United States through NASA wants to return humans to the surface of the Moon by 2025, and Russia and China want to build an international lunar research station on the Earth’s satellite. [NM/HBS]
