Mason Greenwood is reportedly growing frustrated with Cristiano Ronaldo’s strong influence at Manchester United, and how he often became a substitute once Ralf Rangnick arrived.
The 20-year-old had once been a key figure under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but has often been parked under a new manager.
Now, The National claim that Greenwood is irritated by his lack of play and that Ronaldo is always in starting XI.

The report also says that Greenwood is unhappy with the way Ronaldo has monopolized power in the Manchester United dressing room for such a short period of time.
Greenwood is also claimed to be considering the possibility of leaving Old Trafford, as he is well aware that his skills will attract many fans, with Arsenal, Juventus and Barcelona reportedly interested.
This is not the first time Greenwood has allegedly clashed with Ronaldo.
The Portuguese player questioned the fighting spirit of United’s young players after being thrashed by Liverpool 5-0 at Old Trafford.
Quoted from The Telegraph, Ronaldo said: “Not only in football, the new generation since maybe 1995 has a different mindset.”
“Life, football, struggles, this all has to come from within you. You have to accept that there are times when you don’t agree.”
Ronaldo is also believed to be annoyed that Greenwood tends to shoot himself instead of passing the ball to him when the two are paired.
The lack of synergy between the two players was most evident after United were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City and only managed one shot on target against Pep Guardiola’s men.
Greenwood’s role has been increasingly marginalized since Rangnick arrived at Old Trafford, but the 63-year-old manager praised him in full after United were held to a draw by Young Boys.
