NAYPYIDAW, KOMPAS.TV – Myanmar’s military junta has issued arrest orders for nearly 40 artists and influencers who oppose them.
These celebrities include social media influencers, singers and models.
They were targeted for arrest under a law that prohibits incitement that causes dissent in the military.

One of the targets of arrest is blogger Thurein Hlaing Win.
He admitted to being shocked he was mentioned as a villain on TV and is now in hiding.
“I didn’t do anything good or bad. I stand beside the truth. I follow a path that I believe in. Between good and bad, I choose good, “he was quoted as saying Reuters.
