In a weeks-long selection, Wout did not lose a single test. This was partly due to Wout’s hobby as a circus artist. “In many tests we had to throw and catch things, and I am a juggler, so those tests were very simple for me,” Wout tells Radio 2 Vlaams-Brabant. Yet there were also tests that almost killed him. “The most difficult test was undoubtedly the penultimate task with controlling the polishing machines. I turned on that machine and it went backwards. So I pushed forward, but instead of forward, the machine went to the left. Apparently those machines sit like this. together. Then I thought it was going to end there.”
