Wounded wolf reported within the Stelvio Park





(ANSA) – SONDRIO, MAY 21 – The operators of the Stelvio Nationwide Park have acquired studies of an injured wolf, sighted within the Case di Viso space, within the Brescia space. The report was made by a nature photographer who, having seen the wolf at a distance of about 150 metres, instantly seen its limping gait. The photographs revealed that the hind limb, from which a chunk of tibia protrudes just under the knee, is cleanly severed and an act of poaching is hypothesized. “In accordance with the photographer who despatched us the report – explains Matteo Nava, researcher on the College of Milan, who research the wolf within the Stelvio Nationwide Park – though the wound appeared very recent, the wolf was shifting, suggesting that its circumstances weren’t overly vital.” The researchers clarify that it’s virtually actually one of many members of the Tonale herd, within the province of Brescia, which strikes between inside and out of doors the borders of the Stelvio Nationwide Park.
