The feud that has raged between the Thiantakones since the disappearance of their religious guide, Sheikh Béthio Thioune, continues. The faithful of Sokhna Aida Diallo, 3rd wife of the marabout and those of Serigne Saliou Thioune, current Caliph of Sheikh Béthio, came to blows. Youssou Mboup to inform that it was the day after the battle, while he was looking for more information on what is at the origin of this umpteenth fight, that he heard of a complaint filed by the followers of Sokhna Aida Diallo. And yet, he railed: ” the wounded are noted in both camps ».
Worried about this continuing situation, Mr. Mboup calls on the religious authorities of Touba to take up the matter quickly so that a final solution can be found.
