in order to understand me a little recent history. My little cat, Bidule left Monday of a heart attack, he was barely three years old.
He came into my life like an elephant in a china shop, but for the better. He was a stray little cat who appeared one fine day and adopted me in just two days.
I decided to give him the life he deserved, and I think he was pampered and loved as much as a sweetie could be.
Unfortunately, like many street cats, he was fragile, it was his heart, which cowardly abandoned him on Monday. I haven’t lived since.
No need to wait 6 months, a year, it will always be exceptional.
Before he arrived, I was looking to adopt a dog, I’ve always loved dogs, especially my boxer, which is also exceptional, but I’m in an apartment, with an enclosed garden, of course, but it’s complicated. Moreover, I leave in the morning at 7 am and return around 4:30 pm, not before.
Since this morning, I look again and tell myself that the Boston terrier could really be happy in the conditions that I can offer.
However, there is no question that I am wrong, no question of frustrating an animal for a second or that it is not the happiest of animals. I will take NO risk of making him sad.
I will discuss it clearly with Bidule’s veterinarian, but why not ask your opinion?
In summary :
I care about my apartment (33 m² just in case), I care about my furniture, I’m ready to hang my guitars on the wall so it doesn’t eat them, I don’t care about poo in the garden but not in the apartment I don’t care about the price of the food and the vet, but I wouldn’t support (I would be too sad about it) a sick dog like a bulldog, I want to be able to lug it around with me in the car and go down to my friends 800 km away from my house.
I won’t be there during the day, my health will prevent me from walking him for miles every day but I will be there for him 200%.
