Would you like to see King Willem-Alexander and King Filip? Then you should be here on Friday morning!

After the opening signal, the first ship, the MV Bregaglia, sails out of the Nieuwe Sluis, with a parade of boats on either side. On board the Z9, King Willem-Alexander and King Filip will receive a special commemorative medal from the Nieuwe Sluis by Minister Madlener and Minister Peeters. The kings will then speak to representatives of companies that use the locks in Terneuzen on the ship. Once back on land, they are given a tour of the control building at the lock center and talk to local residents, volunteers from Portal Flanders and staff from the co -contractors’ bond.
