Then the summer camp of the Gorsium Archaeological Park is waiting for you – the Szent István Király Museum invites children to a summer activity. They promise that while making the many toys and Roman objects, the children who camp with them can try it out and experience it all.
We also learned from Mónika Szirtes, an employee of the Archaeological Park, that the children will be placed in a different story every day, thus showing the history and the museum in a very interactive, playful way. The children participating in the camp can learn about enjoyable and changing eras. You can learn more not only about the Romans, but also about the barbarians who lived at the same time and their lifestyle. Using a map, they will independently search for treasure, which they can uncover as little archaeologists. Adventures, mysteries and excitement await history-loving children again this year.
Young students can apply for the camp between June 26-30 until June 16. The August camp will take place between 21-25, for which applications are accepted until August 11 at the [email protected] by email or by phone at +36 70 643 7486.
The day camp welcomes children aged 7-13, the camp lasts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., every day. The organizers of the camp provide supervision on the Székesfehérvár-Tác intercity bus and cover the costs of the trip. The participation fee includes meals, equipment and material costs for the sessions.
