Availability is 633,183 doses for this age group. They clarify that vaccination could vary according to the stock of biologicals.

Castro stated that the AstraZeneca vaccine is approved for those over 30 years of age and that there is current scientific evidence demonstrating the safety of vaccination with this platform. He specified that the National Advisory Committee on Immunizations (COTENAI) approved its application to this age group.

“AstraZeneca is a widely used, highly studied, effective and safe vaccine. There are countries that continue to support its use in people 18 years of age and older. Castro clarified that they must be at least 18 years old and 20 weeks pregnant, the termination of the identity card number will not be taken into account either. He asked the pregnant women to present a medical certificate with a stamp and signature.

Regarding the second dose, he announced that all people who received the first dose of Sputnik V will be vaccinated until June 12, with AstraZeneca until August 21, with Moderna until September 2 and with Pfizer until September 2 .
