Worse than being naked.. An Egyptian journalist raises controversy after his remarks on “veiled women” • Al Marsad newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: In the last few hours, a state of controversy has spread in Egypt after the statements by journalist Sherif Madkour on “veiled women” in Egypt.

Sheriff Madkour denounced the use of some veiled women which does not correspond to their belief that “the veil is mandatory” and is “anthropomorphic”, as he described it.

Madkour told him in a live broadcast on his official Facebook page: “I have a specific program in the program where any veiled woman enters me and looks for an image that must be dressed in something that does not describe or heal, because I am showing a program and a screen and blurring the image of the Egyptians, and kept noticing that I would be coming to me as guests.” They are veiled women who wear a veil covering their heads, and are dressed as if they are a little full, and their whole body is separated and they wear very tight pants, block heels, full makeup and big eyelashes.

The reporter added, “Everyone is free to wear it and my life will not interfere in anyone’s business, but for me this will not appear on the screen, so I have made the rules that any veiled woman to appear in the program, it must be if she wears loose clothing. and not brightly colored, and if he wears baggy pants.”

And the journalist continued: “Some of them denounce this and tell me that I see people dressed naked, my answer is that she is not veiled, but the veiled woman is the one who has chosen to be veiled and sees that this is a imposition and has a form that neither describes nor heals, and the veiled woman sees that she leaves a little of her beauty and there is no mark left.” they should not be eye-catching while fully wearing a figure.

And Madkour continued: “For hours I see veiled women who come to me in the program wearing stereoscopic things, you don’t wear them who are not veiled!

And Sheriff Madkour continued: “There are some veiled announcers and women of the media who appear on the screen, and they wear too much makeup and too many heavy eyelashes, and they are a facade and people imitate them… and my intention is to preserve the form, and or we veil ourselves and there is commitment and dispensation from some needs because of our Lord, and for the sake of reward; But we’ll break out in the text, you don’t say it’s an imposition, so tell me it’s a virtue, because the imposition has an obligation and there is no provocative form in it.
