Worms police pull out drivers with drugs in their blood

WORMS – (red). Three drivers who were driving with drugs in their blood were pulled out of traffic by the Worms police on Tuesday evening.

At 5.45 p.m., the officers on Neumarkt checked a 49-year-old from Worms on his moped. Since he showed drug-typical abnormalities, the police carried out a rapid test, the result: amphetamine positive. At 7.30 p.m. a patrol at a traffic control found a 23-year-old driver on Benzstrasse to be using drugs. The test reacted positively to cocaine. A 26-year-old from Worms, who was stopped at 8 p.m. on Cyriakusstrasse, had to leave his car because of a positive drug test.

A blood sample was taken from those affected and investigative proceedings were initiated in each case.
