Electric SUV “Tesla Model X Plaid” costs about 125 thousand US dollars in the United Arab Emirates. Thus, it turns out that the registration plate for it is 120 times more expensive than the car itself. “Plaid” is the fastest and most powerful version of this “Tesla Model X” electric car, which develops 1020 hp and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds.

It is not publicly known who won the auction for the “P7” number plate and why this rich person installed it directly on the “Tesla” electric car. Spending 15 million on the license plate alone, one can imagine that the owner could afford any car on the planet. For example, at the auction itself, this “P7” license plate was displayed on a “Bugatti” supercar that costs a few million.

We remind you that until now the most expensive license plate in the world was simply the number “1”, which was sold at an auction in Abu Dhabi in 2008 for 14.5 million dollars. A dealer with a California license plate “MM” wants to break that record, which is being offered for $24 million.
