World’s First Robotic Total Liver Transplant Successfully Performed in Riyadh

Riyadh – King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh is an unprecedented medical achievement. Robotic total liver transplantation was performed. This type of surgery is the first in the world. Successful transplantation was performed in a 60-year-old Saudi patient with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
