World Youth Wrestling Championship 2023: Kazakh Star Uldana Tleuhan Eyes Bronze After Semi-Final Heartbreak in Amman

The second competitive day of the World Youth Wrestling Championship is taking place in Amman today, reports sportarena.kz

Today, the capital of Jordan, Amman, hosts the World Championships in Greco-Roman, women’s and freestyle wrestling, among youth in the age category up to 17 years.

Kazakh girl wrestler Uldana Tleuhan, competing in the weight category up to 65 kg, failed to reach the final of the world championship, losing in the semi-finals to Daria Frolova from Russia with a score of 4:5. In the last seconds of the meeting, with the score tied, but the Russians for the quality of points, Tleukhan’s coaching staff asked for a video replay, which recorded a lack of effective action by the athlete from Kazakhstan.

Despite the loss, Uldana Tleukhan will have the chance to fight for a bronze medal at the World Championships tomorrow.
