World Triathlon Sprint & Relay Championships: Hamburg Worlds schedule updated

Race action from Thursday late afternoon through Sunday evening: The German Triathlon Union (DTU) has updated the schedule for the World Triathlon Sprint & Relay Championships from July 13th to 16th.

The junior decisions will be made on Thursday (July 13), starting at 5 p.m. (women) and 7 p.m. (men). On Friday (July 14) the qualifying runs for the elite individual and, from 12 noon, the world championship races for the age groups over the sprint distance will follow.

Relay spectacle on Sunday from 2.15 p.m

One day later, on Saturday (July 15), the mixed relay for youngsters (from 1 p.m.) and the finals of the elite men (from 4.20 p.m.) and elite women (from 4.55 p.m.) are alternately on the program.

The long triathlon highlight ends on Sunday with the world championship race for the elite in the mixed relay (from 2.15 p.m.) and the age groups in the mixed relays (from 4.15 p.m.). In addition, the sprint (Saturday) and short distance (Sunday) races for the age groupers will take place from 6.30 a.m.

The schedule with the exact route lengths of the WTCS race elite and U23 juniors as well as the Age Group Race are each listed on the DTU page.
