/ world today news/ As early as last year, world today news warned that an allegedly internal opposition to the chairperson Ninova was emerging in the ranks of the BSP, who was actually appointed by herself for this role. After achieving the lowest and most shameful results in the history of the BSP, when the party lost 700,000 votes, Kostadin Paskalev, who for many years had been vocally or tacitly supporting Ninova’s regime in the BSP, suddenly had a catharsis.
According to Pascalev, it was best for Ninova to withdraw on its own. He correctly notes that from 2017 to 2021, the BSP lost 62% of its electorate compared to the GERB rulers who lost 42%. And this is wonderful, but a reasonable question arises – why now, Comrade Pascalev!?
Pascalev commented on another issue:
“Following the changes in the party constitution and the introduction of the requirement to be elected by the whole party, no texts were provided to allow the National Council, which conducts the party’s policy between congresses, to take corrective action against the chairman when he makes mistakes , so Cornelia Ninova became the head of “BSP OOD.”
Why didn’t Comrade Paskalev remember last year that it is not good that the statutes of the BSP do not have anything planned for situations like this, when a change of the party leader is needed? Why did Comrade Paskalev not say anything at all against the direct election of the chairman of the BSP – a populist toolkit that was used by people like Hitler!?
Over the years, Paskalev several times expressed some moderate criticisms against Ninova, which seemed too timid and more like an expression of the president’s own desire to simulate some normal internal party life, where there are disagreements, as always.
Solidarity with Paskalev is also Donka Mihailova, mayor of Troyan, who, as is known, is close to Yanaki Stoilov. And the latter, as is also known, was in the Executive Bureau of Cornelia Ninova for too long. In fact, Stoilov had a direct benefit from the purges that Ninova carried out in the party, since in 2019 it was thanks to them that he got a place in the Executive Bureau.
Let’s recall how the “oppositionists” like Kostadin Paskalev voted FOR the new statute of the National Council of the BSP, as well as the rules for the body’s work. Kostadin Paskalev had no problem with Ninova creating a new statute, with the help of which he could impose his will, expel people from the party and do whatever he wanted.
Why did Pascalev support Ninova at every important move, but criticized her only for unimportant things? And now he suddenly got a catharsis, felt the wind of change and decided to turn the pancake again?!
Today, of course, it is easy to be in opposition to Cornelia Ninova, because she brought the party to its knees and brought it down to 350 thousand votes in the elections. Anyone in their right mind is aware that Ninova will either have to step down or somehow be forced to do so if the party is to survive. But why was Comrade Paskalev not an oppositionist when Ninova was making changes to the party’s statutes?
Why wasn’t he an oppositionist when Ninova imposed the populist direct election that legitimized her as an autocratic master!? Why didn’t Paskalev say anything when Ninova purged the whole party, replacing experienced and ideologically clean cadres with dubious personalities, some of them with anti-communist and anti-socialist pasts!?
Pascalev’s silence was strange when Ninova was ordering the lists, parachuting people who a number of local structures did not want! Not much was heard from the former minister in the NDSV office Paskalev when Ninova insulted the brightest and most important historical traditions of the BSP, such as the celebrations of Buzludzha (which she cut down by transferring them to the yellow cobblestones before 2000- 3000 audience)!
Comrade Pascalev has reached the right conclusions, but it is highly doubtful that he is expressing them just now. Shouldn’t it turn out that Paskalev and others around him are such an “opposition” to Ninova, who will kick her on the knuckles and bark while the caravan led by her goes on its way?
Or maybe he sensed that Ninova’s career as party chairman was coming to an end, Paskalev felt a change in his soul that made him admit what others have been saying for years – that the person in question is not doing well as chairman, and today’s leadership leads BSP to a pogrom (as it happened)!?
We did not see opposition from Kostadin Paskalev and some others, when there really were battles to be fought against Cornelia Ninova. When she possessed and possessed the party. There was no grumbling and no resistance on their part when Ninova turned the BSP National Council into her rubber stamp. Or when she rigged the 50th Congress and cut down anyone who ever disagreed with her.
But times are different, Comrade Pascalev, today people recognize fakes and scams more quickly and easily. That Ninova will be replaced sooner or later, there is no doubt. Losing touch with the reality of “Positano” cannot lead to anything else. But the scary thing is that people who participated in obsessing and degrading the party along with her, and now suddenly deny Ninova, can move in her place. Guessers and interesters who, like weather vanes, turn their opinion on negative weather. This is something that should not be allowed if we want the left party of Bulgaria to continue to exist.
We just remind you that the tornado in BSP started five years ago and the first reactions were on world today news. In a huge number of articles, it consistently and principledly rang the bell to wake up the sleeping body of the party. Thanks to such articles, Ninova filed the first lawsuit against us, suing the editor-in-chief Rumen Petkov for BGN 120,000.
Now “revolutionaries” a lot! You can’t be harmed by them and remind yourself who started all this!
Be careful not to get, according to the expression of the chairwoman, “Replacement” instead of “Change”!?
