The Department of Culture of the Gáldar City Council, directed by Julio Mateo Castillo, has prepared a series of events around World Theater Day, which is celebrated next Monday, March 27. But first, starting this Wednesday the 22nd, several events will start to value this artistic discipline. Thus, from Wednesday the 22nd to Saturday the 25th of March, at the Agáldar Museum of City History, there will be a Genderless Style Theater Seminar aimed at professional actors, which will be in charge of Rebeca Ledesma. Meanwhile, on Friday the 24th, starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Teatro Consistorial, the premiere of ‘Muses, an absurdly funny comedy’, by Yanely Hernández will take place. Tickets are on sale at entradas.galdar.es. Already on Saturday 25, at 7:00 p.m. also at the Teatro Consistorial, Rebeca Ledesma will give an open class of Genderless Style Theater directed this time to all audiences. Access is free and free.
Finally, on Monday, March 27, the date on which World Theater Day is celebrated, the institutional act of World Theater Day will take place at the Teatro Consistorial de Gáldar, starting at 8:00 p.m. in charge of Manuela Teno Nevado, component of the Gáldar Theater Company and Great Lady of the Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2023. In it, the Theater Company itself will delight those present with the sketch ‘El Re-Casting’ under the direction of Heriberto Diaz.
