The morning after the Dodgers beat the New York Mets to earn their spot in the Fall Classic, World Series tickets were selling for at least $1,000, depending on the game.
The first game of the World Series will be played on Friday, October 25 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. According to SeatGeek, the cheapest single ticket costs $1,034.
Game 2 of the series in Los Angeles is next night, Saturday, October 26, and tickets are up two hundred dollars. The cheapest individual ticket costs $1,209.
The next three games of the World Series will be in New York, if the series goes to a fifth game. The cheapest ticket for the third game costs $1,385; for the fourth, $1,110; and for the fifth, $1,110.
Although the 6th and 7th games are not guaranteed, these games have some of the most expensive seats. Game 6, which returns to Los Angeles, costs $1,359, while Game 7 has the cheapest ticket, $1,297.
And to be clear, all these “cheap” tickets are for the so-called “nose” seats, that is, the highest and furthest seats from the arena.
