World record! Marvel fan watched Avengers: Endgame very, very, very often – Cinema News

The Guinness World Records book congratulates a fan on setting the world record: Ramiro Alanis has watched “Avengers 4” 191 times in the cinema. No other film by the same person has been watched so often.

The cinema industry is currently doing badly, as many cinemas are not allowed to be open due to Corona and large films are postponed or published as a stream on the Internet. Loyal moviegoers are more important than ever – and the most loyal of them is called Ramiro Alanis, lives in Florida and has now received a certificate for a world record from Guinnes World Records.

As the official Guinnes website reports, Ramiro Alanis was honored for having seen “Avengers: Endgame” 191 times in the cinema.

According to the records in the record collection, no one has seen a film so often in the cinema before.

Ramiro Alanis has a family and he has a job as a fitness trainer, but both suffered:

“The hardest part of my record attempt was giving up social life with my family, not exercising enough (I lost seven kilograms of muscle) and coordinating my work and time in the cinema,” says Alanis quoted on the Guiness page.

A viewing of “Endgame” takes three hours, by the way, so Ramiro Alanis has also chosen one of the longest blockbusters in the recent past for his record.

“Avengers: Endgame” was released in 2019, was the previous highlight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and replaced “Avatar” as the most successful film of all time, until “Avatar” recently got this title back because of a re-release in China.

The MCU in the podcast

Sebastian, Julius and Tobias can’t keep up with Ramiro Alanis for a long time, but they have a different goal anyway: Instead of watching a Marvel film on a loop, they want to watch all previous MCU films again before “Black Widow” comes.

The love of the screen podcast then discusses how the films look today, the consequences for Phase 1 and to Phase 2 are already online.
