The film “The Hope Choir” celebrates its world premiere on Monday, April 24, in Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg Lake District). Filmmaker Jens Lange accompanied the Datzeberg district choir “schall.platte” for a year in 2022, resulting in a very personal documentary that will be premiered in the Latücht cinema, as the Polylux association announced. Polylux has been the sponsor of the project since 2014 and, in cooperation with the youth migration service of the AWO district association Neubrandenburg/Ostvorpommern, invites you to the world premiere.
In addition to the film, there is also music
In addition to the film screening, the “schall.platte” will sing a few songs and the filmmaker will provide insights into the process of creating the documentary. Jens Lange had already contributed his professional skills to the choir’s music videos and to the video project “The Story”. The premiere begins at 8 p.m. in the Latücht cinema on Große Krauthöferstrasse. Admission tickets for ten euros can be purchased from the ticket service at the marketplace.
Polylux is a non-profit association and sponsor of free youth welfare, which has been committed to “social, spiritual and cultural concerns” in the district of Neubrandenburg, which is characterized by industrially manufactured prefabricated buildings, since 2008.
