World of Warcraft: The WorldSoul Saga – New Expansions Revealed at BlizzCon 2022

After notification World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic to make a return appearance on the stage of this year’s BlizzCon Chris Metzento announce as executive creative director of Warcraft World of Warcraft: The WorldSoul Saga. Under this name are three future major expansions of the popular massively multiplayer RPG.

Metzen described the WorldSoul Saga as the culmination of the first 20 years of WoWk’s story, launching the next 20 years of adventure. The first new expansion will be The War Within. In it, the heroes travel deep into Azeroth and explore the underground kingdom. He speaks of it as the abyssal depth of Azeroth divided into four vast zones Khaz Algaru (Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet). You begin your adventure on the Isle of Dorn and descend into the depths.

He’s waiting here too a new race called Earthen. Blizzard will make it possible to boost skills up to level 80 and gain new abilities through hero talent trees, as well as sharing your progress with other characters and conquering the skies.

Another extension is called Midnight and is set in the old world of Azeroth in Quel’Thalas, which has been invaded by Void forces seeking to destroy the Sunwell and plunge the world into darkness. The conclusion of the new saga will be The Last Titan. This time it takes place in Northrend, which we know well from Wrath of the Lich King. As the title suggests, the Titans return (one or more?) and players must uncover a grand conspiracy that spans the entire history of the world and challenges everything fans thought and knew about the Titans, their intentions, and the true nature of Azeroth.

World of Warcraft: The War Within will be released in 2024.

If you are asking about Xbox verzi World of Warcraftu, which fans have been clamoring for since Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard King for a historic $68.7 billion, Phil Spencer, as the head of Microsoft’s gaming division, appeared at BlizzCon, but did not talk about the Xbox version. Instead, he reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Blizzard’s talent, which brought hits like WoW, Diablo, Overwatch and StarCraft to the world.
