Blizzard will release the Shadowlands World of Warcraft expansion on October 27th. The development studio announced this on Thursday during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released at noon on the night of October 26-27 Dutch time, Blizzard makes on his home page known. Blizzard is pairing the announcement with the release of a new trailer video.

Shadowlands is the eighth expansion to World of Warcraft and brings new factions, dungeons in raids to the game. In addition, there are the new zones Revendreth, Arenweald, Maldraxxus and Bastion, which are home to several mighty Covenant creatures, the last zone being The Maw.
