The expansion number 8 of World of Warcraft, Shadowlands has had a successful reception, so much so that it has managed to break a record that the video game Diablo 3 had, coming from the same studio as the protagonist of this news, Blizzard. Statistics show that World of Warcraft Shadowlands has become the best-selling video game on the day of its launch on computers.
In its first 24 hours on the market, the video game managed to sell 3.7 million units. With this figure, it achieved the new record and surpassed the 3.5 million Diablo 3 it achieved in 2012. On launch day this could be reflected in Blizzard’s servers, which at times suffered different crashes. The World of Warcraft saga has been one of the best known in MMORPGs for 15 years, with these figures it is clear that there is content for much longer.
