A few hours ago we have known a terrible information that speaks of a very toxic and dangerous environment that many workers suffered at Blizzard. The case has horrified the gaming community, because exposed situations are very serious. The players of World of Warcraft have wanted to show their rejection to these practices.
WoW’s central hub has been filled in the last few hours with players. Oribos has concentrated a large number of users since the cases of abuse have been known, but not because there are more players playing the Blizzard title: the fans have gathered in this place as a protest after learning about this lawsuit that has been filed against the company, as has pointed Polygon.

Fence Macabre, a World of Warcraft guild, organized this complaint, which was held on the afternoon of July 22. This act has been supported by a large number of players. “I have mainly seen a lots of support for victims“said Hinahina Gray of Fence Macabre, in statements a IGN.
“It is incredibly encouraging and comforting to know that while a number of things can divide us in the way each of us interacts with World of Warcraft, ultimately, we are united in a community that believes in the common good“Gray explained. Many of the players who have protested have prepaid accounts, but will no longer support the title.
I sit in Oribos to protest Activision-Blizzard
I stand up for the victims of sexual harassment, abuse, misogynism, and racism. This shit has got to stop, A/B needs a MASSIVE culture shift.

This group also has raised money for Black Girls CODE, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching girls ages 7 to 17 about programming and digital technology, and they have already raised $ 8,000. The Blizzard case is leaving different information and we have also learned that the company made reservations for Warcraft 3: Reforged knowing the game was not ready.
