Alexstrasza and Raszageth fight each other in the sky! Blizzard Entertainment has released a new pre-rendered movie for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is well underway, and Blizzard Entertainment has traditionally uploaded cinematic videos of the expansion to its YouTube channel for players to enjoy. THE extra chaotic start despite this, many World of Warcraft fans managed to hack the now infamous ship and airship route to the Dragon Isles. The new continent holds many amazing stories. Many have already selected their favorite missions. But the overarching story remains one of revenge, sibling rivalry, and ascension as Alexstrasza takes on Raszageth, the “Storm Eater.”
Raszageth and the “Primalists” are the initial threat, although not necessarily the final boss of Dragonflight.
Dragonflight has amazing gameplay footage. At the same time, the confrontation between the Storm-Eater and Alexstrasza was made like a traditional World of Warcraft cinematic scene. In the two-and-a-half-minute scene titled “The Storm-Eater’s Fury,” Raszageth unleashes all of her power upon the Dragon Queen, nearly ending her reign were it not for the timely intervention of a somewhat controversial WoW character.
Wrathion in WoW has always been a divisive figure for the community. As heir to the throne of Neltharion, it was assumed that she would take the vacant throne of Earth-Warder and remake Black Dragonflight to what she once was. The set strongly questions this assumption with the reappearance of Sabellian and her brother. In doing so, forcing players and Wrathion himself to question whether he truly deserves the throne. As Dragonflight unfolds, fans will have the opportunity to support the Black Prince or his rival in the battle for the next Dragon Aspect title.
As for Raszageth, he remains the final boss of the first raid and his influence is felt throughout the first season of Dragonflight.
Like Lord Denathrius before him, the Mythic Keystone seasonal dungeon affix is built around the Storm Eater. He is as exciting and flamboyant as the character himself. World of Warcraft players will be able to target him in the Vault of the Incarnates starting December 12, when the normal, heroic, and mythic versions of the raid open.
