World Media Congress 2023: Enhancing Partnerships between Brazilian and UAE Media

ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2020 (WAM) — Eliana Zogheib, Chargé d’Affairs of the Brazilian Embassy in the UAE, confirmed that the World Media Congress, which is held annually in Abu Dhabi, attracts key stakeholders and provides a unique platform to discuss some of the most pressing challenges of our time, such as providing reliable and timely information to the public. .
Zogheib’s statements came within the framework of the ongoing preparations for the second session of the World Media Congress, which is organized by the (ADNEC) Group in cooperation with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), from November 14 to 16, 2023, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
Zogheib expressed her confidence that the World Media Congress will present distinct opportunities in its next session, saying, “We are confident that the second session of the World Media Congress will provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and new partnerships between professionals in the field of media from all over the world,” pointing out that the existing cooperation Between Brazil and the UAE in the field of media helps to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples.
She explained that the existing partnerships between the Emirates News Agency, WAM, and the Brazilian media are an important element in enhancing mutual cooperation and partnership between some of the most influential stakeholders in Brazil and the UAE, stressing the importance of these partnerships in terms of spreading mutual knowledge between the two countries.
Zogheib referred to the memorandums of understanding signed by WAM with the Brazilian news agency Fulhabress and the Brazilian website UOL Universo Online during Expo 2020 Dubai, explaining that these memorandums encourage and enhance professional media cooperation between WAM. and Brazilian media organizations to exchange news and media content and establish sustainable partnerships.
WAM recently intensified its cooperation with two Brazilian TV channels, which were provided with special news bulletins during the visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to the UAE. The first session of the World Media Congress, which was held in Abu Dhabi in November 2022 under the slogan “Shaping the Future of the Media Industry”, was attended by Big Brazilian.
It is worth noting that the first session of the event included an exhibition and more than 30 seminars and workshops, in which more than 162 world-renowned speakers participated, and attracted 13,656 visitors, as well as the participation of more than 190 media organizations from 42 countries and more than 1,200 experts and specialists in the field of media, and influencers from Six continents around the world.
