The World Health Organization has revealed that its office in Cairo and the Ministry of Health and Population are communicating with the French authorities to request additional information on the two cases of Corona believed to have left Egypt to France, in accordance with international health laws.
The organization stated in a press statement that the required information includes the date of travel from Cairo, the date of the injury, and the period of the two cases in Egypt, to determine whether the injury occurred in Egypt or not.
The World Health Organization stressed that until this information is reached, it is not possible to confirm or neglect the possibility of infection in Egypt.
The French Minister of Health had written a tweet on his page on the social networking site «Twitter» stating that France had discovered two Corona cases and it was found that they were visiting Egypt a short time ago.
