International stars also wore traditional Saudi clothing.
The Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the star of Al-Nasr Club, and his Senegalese colleague Sadio Mane appeared in the Saudi uniform and performed the Saudi performance.
Frenchman Karim Benzema, the star of Al-Ittihad Club, posted a picture of himself on Instagram in Saudi uniform, congratulating him on Saudi National Day.
Brazilian Neymar, the star of Al Hilal Club, also appeared in traditional Saudi clothing during a video recording broadcast by the team’s account on the “X” website.
Algerian international Riyad Mahrez congratulated the Saudis on the National Day celebrations, like the rest of the Al-Ahly club stars.

Al-Ettifaq Club broadcast a video recording, in which its English coach Steven Gerrard and Saudi and foreign players appeared, to commemorate the occasion.
Italian Roberto Mancini, the “Green” coach, was keen to congratulate the Saudi people on their National Day.
He wrote on social media: “A country with deep roots in history, and friendly and wonderful people. I wish all Saudis a happy National Day.”
