The match between Poland and Albania was postponed for about 15 minutes.
Karol Swiderski gave Poland the lead against Albania with 13 minutes left to play. He ran towards the corner flag and was greeted by cheering teammates.
Then it began to hail bottles and other objects from the stands in the direction of the Polish players. Several players stuck to their heads, and you could see that some of the players were hit.
This led to frustrated and angry Poland players deciding to go in the locker room. They stayed there for about 15 minutes while the Albania players waited in the player tunnel.
Eventually, the players came out on the field again to complete the match. The match ended 1-0 to Poland.
Poland is now number two in Group I in the qualification for the World Cup in Qatar, three points behind group leader England, who on Tuesday night played 1-1 against Hungary.
