The auction house Sotheby’s has auctioned off six jerseys of Argentine soccer world champion Lionel Messi – for the equivalent of around seven million euros. This makes them one of the most expensive sports collectibles that the auction house says it has sold this year.

Messi wore the number ten shirts during the World Cup in Qatar last year. According to Sotheby’s, there were three bids in the online auction. It was not announced who won the contract.
