Slovak representative Andreas Žampa he finished 23rd with a loss of 3.02 and scored the first eight points this season. His brother Adam Žamp they divided two hundreds from the progression to the 2nd round.
Odermatt celebrated his eighth career triumph in Alta Badia, the fourth of its season. Thanks to the gain of 100 points, he strengthened his lead in the overall ranking of the prestigious series and the ongoing classification of the discipline.
He created a good starting position already in the 1st round, after which he settled for 18 months ahead of De Aliprandini. In the second lap he showed a brilliant ride and highlighted his lead. He did not find a conqueror in the “giants” in Sölden and Val d´Isere this season either.
Andreas Žampa started in the 1st round with a high starting number of 51 and reached the 28th fastest time. He was behind Deermatt by 3.14 blacks of the elite thirty, pushing his brother Adam, who was 31st (+3.28).
In the second round, Andreas Žampa went with maximum risk and, despite a mistake at the top of the track, he improved by five places. On Sunday, he missed a single hundred to advance to the 2nd round.
“I missed the progress by two hundred, but I don’t mind at all that Andy pushed me out. It’s great that he finally got to the 2nd round, because he had it for a very long time. I went well at the top, then a mistake came “It threw me out of the rhythm. Today the snow was a bit aggressive, I didn’t like it, unfortunately, the loss was quite significant. It doesn’t matter, you have to work on.” said Adam Žampa.
