Doha: Qatar’s World Cup constructions praised at International Climate Change Conference held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The architectural characteristics of the World Cup stadiums were particularly appreciated by those who came to the pavilion set up by Qatar for the conference. The meeting appreciated the great efforts made by Qatar to set up stadiums in record time for the World Cup.
Officials and dignitaries who visited the pavilion commented that these facilities confirm Qatar’s capacity and ability to host a world championship such as the World Cup.
Pointing out other World Cup-related infrastructure development projects, officials said the main reason for Qatar’s success is its firm leadership stance and diligence in overcoming crises.
A special presentation on Doha Expo 2023, which is expected to start in October next year, was staged at the Qatar Pavilion. The Expo, entitled Green Desert, Better Environment, will be held for 179 days from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, with the participation of 80 countries. The Expo is organized with the aim of strengthening international cooperation in environmental and cultural crises.
