World Cup 2030 Akhannouch meets Pedro Sanchéz and Infantino in New York

The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, held a meeting on Tuesday in New York with the president of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, to check the progress of preparations for the 2030 World Cup which Morocco is co-hosting. bond organized by Spain and Portugal.

In a statement to the media at the end of this meeting, held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Infantino welcomed the projects that were underway in different cities in the Kingdom, saying that he “I’m sure. Morocco will be a magnificent host. “

Remembering that the decision of the FIFA Congress regarding the 2030 World Cup is expected next December, Mr. Infantino said “after my discussions, and as we know Morocco, a country of football, its everything ready”.

Shortly before his meeting with Infantino, the Head of Government held talks with the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sanchez. The 2030 World Cup was also on the agenda.
