World Cup 2022 Results: Fierce, First Round Uruguay vs South Korea 0-0

TIME.CO, Jakarta – Group H Duel World Cup 2022 between Uruguay and South Korea the first half ended with the score 0-0. The two teams played at Education City Stadium on Thursday 24 November 2022.

In the first 10 minutes, both teams took turns attacking each other. Uruguay relies on Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez at the forefront. Meanwhile, South Korea deployed Son Heung-min and Hwang Ui-jo to penetrate the opposing defence.

Both Uruguay and South Korea failed to reduce the tension of the match as the second 10 minutes began. There was a golden opportunity in the 21st minute in front of the Korean goal, but the Korean defense protected by the fourth Kim managed to suppress it.

Statistically, Uruguay and South Korea appear balanced in all respects. Uruguay recorded 47% possession. They also released three kicks and one that landed.

Meanwhile, Korea scored two precious chances against Uruguay, but only one endangered goalkeeper Sergio Rochet.

In the 44th minute Uruguay came close to scoring. Diego Godin’s header hit the crossbar. This is Uruguay’s only golden opportunity to change things. However, no goals were scored until extra time and the position was still a goalless draw.
