World Cup 2022 of the richest countries: USA and Switzerland champions

The World Cup according to the wealth of the countries present in Qatar: here the Azzurri do not come out victorious.

Thirty-two countries will, starting tomorrow Sunday, compete at the 2022 World Cup, in Qatar. Not everyone has the same sporting ambitions, because not everyone has the same means of development, sometimes for reasons of interest in sport and in certain regions, for lack of means to accelerate practice. At the starting line, the 32 countries are not all economically equal.

The USA are world champions, but the Swiss dominate individually

Classified according to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and per capita GDP, the reading of this World Cup given by the media Football Finance, it’s a little different. Here the United States dominates its subject and with them the Swiss, who have a per capita GDP in 2021 of almost $100,000 and much higher than the rest of the competing nations. The differences are particularly significant with the African countries, last in the national ranking, as well as at the individual level.
