World cultures coexist and share their traditions in Irapuato – El Sol de Irapuato

France, Egypt, Türkiye, Japan, Colombia, Venezuela and Spain were the countries invited to celebrate the Festival of Cultures, a space where the citizens of Iraq had the opportunity to enjoy food, dance shows and music.

Valeria Alfaro García, president of the DIF Irapuato System, welcomed the attendees, in addition to thanking the presence of the the representatives of each of the invited countries.

This party is for all of you, for you to enjoy, we are within the framework of Columbus Day and we have decided to transform to commemorate this day into a festival of cultures where we promote social and racial inclusion in our municipality.”

For its part, Liliana Torrero García, director of the DIF Irapuato System, explained that this event has grown since its first editions, when it was known as the Pilgrimage.
