It is the International Athletics Federation’s anti-doping agency AIU that has announced that Carina Horn is now suspended for six years.
That means the career is over.
When the suspension expires in 2029, she will be 40 years old.
The fact that the punishment was extra severe is due to the fact that it was the second time in a short time that she was caught in a doping control.

The first time was in 2019, when she was caught with two prohibited substances in her body.
