It is the International Athletics Federation’s anti-doping agency AIU that has announced that Carina Horn is now suspended for six years.

That means the career is over.

When the suspension expires in 2029, she will be 40 years old.

The fact that the punishment was extra severe is due to the fact that it was the second time in a short time that she was caught in a doping control.

The first time was in 2019, when she was caught with two prohibited substances in her body.

That time, she claimed that her dietary supplement had been contaminated and had her sentence reduced from four to two years’ suspension.

She made history in 2018, when she became the first South African to run under the dream limit of eleven seconds at the Diamond League gala in Doha.

She made a comeback last year and qualified for the WC in Budapest which starts on August 19.
