Informal caregivers

Councilor Marcel ten Have (municipality of Drechterland) addressed the visitors, in particular the informal caregivers: ‘Thank you for your efforts. Informal caregivers provide 80% of all care provided in the Netherlands. I have a lot of respect for you, you are indispensable. But as an informal caregiver, also take good care of yourself. Because only then can you take good care of someone else. That is why we have informal care coaches and an informal care compliment in Stede Broec.
