Workshops to discover the professions offered by Info Jeunes

Between the ages of 15 and 30, comes the time to ask questions about the future. Over the ages and depending on the status, each person’s questions widen, addressing many themes: orientation, training, change of sector, professions, jobs, projects, additional training, rights, aid, etc.

However, finding information, contacts, listening or advice is not always easy.

Info Jeunes Sud-Hérault, sensitive to this issue, volunteered and went to meet the two 3rd year classes from the Buissonnets college in Capestang.

The youth information service workers spent two mornings at the Lycée des Buissonnets as part of the orientation. The informant, accompanied by a facilitator and three teachers, conducted workshops around the discovery of trades. During these half-days placed under the sign of orientation, the college students were able to assimilate the possible courses after the 3rd thanks to a slideshow of Onisep, games on knowledge of trades and a personality test to define their profile.

It is a very useful initiative for the 3rd year classes because the 47 pupils will go on to the professional path at the start of the school year, in CAP or in bac Pro. These are all orientation projects to prepare. With refresher training and confidence, this is one of the objectives of the college cycle in Les Buissonnets.

These events set up by Info Jeunes Sud-Hérault aim to allow young people to write their self-portrait, build their professional project and discover jobs that are likely to match their profile, skills and qualities. Personalized or small group support will be provided in the coming weeks with, for example, a virtual reality headset on the presentation of trades.

Parents and young people are welcome at the Infojeunes space from Monday to Friday to reflect on these questions.
